Client
Unadorned Stationery is a Vancouver based company offering custom-designed wedding stationery and signage across Canada.
Brief
Create a brand, website, and content for social media and advertising that will raise brand awareness and generate leads.

The Logo
The logo features an adorned typeface for the word "Unadorned" which is sarcastic given its meaning. While being refined, it still communicates a sense of relatability and creativity, which are two pieces of the brand's voice.
To create contrast between the two words, "Unadorned" is bolder, while "stationery" uses a thin font, with all caps and extra kerning. This way, both words can be seen and read with a clear hierarchy and a balance of thick and thin, which is carried throughout other elements of the brand.







Creating the Brand
The process started with an extensive research of direct and indirect competitors, which helped establish the: (1) slogan; (2) positioning statement; (3) purpose; (4) mission statement; (5) vision statement; (6) brand values; (7) brand voice; (8) target market; and (9) persona.
Once that was established, each element of the brand was designed to appeal to the target audience. For example, the color palette includes a balance of dark and light hues, featuring elegant wedding colors like gold and cream, along with teals and blues for a pop of color. For consistency with the logo and to create contrast, elements vary with filled or outlined shapes and lines with thick and thin strokes.

Creating the Website
The goal of the website is to clearly communicate the services offered with the use of high-quality imagery that will appeal to the target audience. The navigation and the pages are simple to encourage users to visit multiple pages and inquire by filling out the contact form. Creating an easy and luxury experience was key.
